Karla Joyce-Good and Allison Messina were pleased to present the CHPDP’s work at the 2014 annual International Bullying Prevention Association’s(IBPA) conference held this past November in San Diego, CA. This year the CHPDP was selected to present on three separate areas of their bullying prevention work. These presentations included an interactive session on the CHPDP’s newly released bibliography which was developed to help teachers select classroom literature to promote cultural competence as well as two additional TED inspired talks on their Pediatric Screening Tool and their bullying prevention work in urban school settings. All three sessions were well attended and the conference overall was a huge success. Thanks to all those on the IBPA’s board of directors who worked so hard to organize this important conference.
